Our Origin
In the span of 6 months, at the age of 44, Marty Renk suffered two major injuries – he pulled muscles in his back doing crossfit, then he tore his Achilles Tendon playing tennis. These were the first major injuries of his life.
After recovering for the torn Achilles, heeding the physical therapist’s advice, Marty quit CrossFit. He started guided home workouts; he loved the home workouts for many reasons. The problem – he didn’t have room for a well equipped home gym. As a designer by trade, Marty started prototyping different space saving product ideas. After dozens of iterations, the kettlebell bag, in its current state, was born.
